As a foreigner, to access the services of IMSS Bienestar, you need to present your CURP (Unique Population Registry Code). You’ll also need to show an ID, such as your passport, provide a phone number, and show proof of residence in BCS. It’s also helpful to provide your blood type so it can be included in your IMSS Bienestar card.
The service is free, including medications. Your health center will be the one closest to your home. In case of an emergency, you can be treated at the Hospital Salvatierra. IMSS Bienestar offers a range of services, including general consultations, nutrition, psychology, laboratories, and more. For minors, you will need their birth certificate and the ID of their parents or guardians.
